The Best 2017 Christmas Tree Baubles

The Best 2017 Christmas Tree Baubles

I LOVE Christmas. It is my favourite time of year and I generally fully embrace the whole festive season from the first of December.

This year we’ve been a bit later in putting our tree up and as I write this, we are still without Christmas tree. I know, right?! Call myself a lover of Christmas and a blogger/instagrammer. The reason for this is that last year, being the first Christmas in our new home and all that, we went all out and bought our tree on the first of December. Fast forward to Christmas day and said tree was rather droopy and did not look particularly Christmas Day ready.

My poor droopy Christmas tree...

So this year, I’ve been holding out. And it’s meant I really haven’t felt as Christmas ready as I normally do, as it doesn’t feel properly like Christmas for me until the tree is up. So this weekend has been reserved for some full on Christmas time. We are going to get the tree, I am going to create my festive staircase and I’m going to bake mince pies (you can have a go at creating my delicious shortbread mince pies from my recipe here. You won’t be disappointed).

You may have seen on Instagram but we do have one lovely festive item up and it’s my gorgeous homemade wreath, which I made at florists Classy Blooms last weekend. It was such a fun workshop and it was actually a lot easier than I expected to create a wreath from scratch. I am so chuffed with my creation and of course I had to give it a tropical feel with my own pineapple decoration from Oliver Bonas!

Of course, a Christmas tree is nothing without it’s party outfit of decorations and I love getting a new bauble or two each year. I am guessing some of the readers of my blog will also like buying new annual baubles and might be late to the Christmas tree party like me, so I’ve put together my round-up of the best Christmas baubles available to buy now.

Disclaimer – you might want them ALL.
